Most people do not realize that a little bit of TLC for your PC will keep it running faster and avoid crashing and most importantly more enjoyable to use. So what TLC does your PC need?
- Keep your antivirus definitions up to date so that you stop those nasty viruses. Depending on what antivirus software you have it should do it automatically, just check that it is otherwise you’re not properly protected.
- Make sure your operating system i.e., Windows XP or Windows Vista has all the latest updates and security patches installed, you can usually find the link to windows update by going to your Start menu or All programs.

- Once a week do a disk clean you find this by going to start/programs/accessories/system tools/disk clean up, this will help keep the clutter off your PC.
- Once a month its recommended to do a disk defragmenter found next to disk cleanup, this basically reorganizes your hard drive so files can be found quicker when you click on them.
